After March 1, 2024, no meals will be available for purchase and registration must be done on-site at the Meeting. If any meals become available, they can be purchased on a first come, first serve basis at on-site registration. Meal tickets will indicate the purchased item and location to get meal.

Please follow the steps below. Steps in red are required to attend the conference, while the others are optional.




Step 1: Renew/New Membership Dues

Renewal Membership:

If you are a participant in ANY session of the conference, by January 15th you are REQUIRED to renew your membership or join the Society AND pay the registration fee.

New Membership:

Those who wish to apply for NEW membership must follow the process outlined here, including submission of the Membership Application.

Step 8: Purchase Conference Papers in Digital Format (PDF)

Online Access & CD-ROM:
(projected availability for pre-conference online access February 24). User Name and Password will be sent via email once available.

Note: The pre-conference Online Access only includes papers submitted by the announced deadline (January 15, 2023). After the conference, additional papers will be provided online and all available papers will be on the CD, which will be sent in June. Online papers are available through December 31, 2023.

Step 9: Donate to Ithiel Clemmons Minority Scholarship Fund

The Ithiel Clemmons Minority Scholarship Fund was established to assist minority and women students in attending the SPS Annual Meeting. Friends and members of the SPS are asked to consider donating $5 or more to this fund at the time of registration. Please select the amount you would like to donate to the fund. If the amount you want to donate is not designated, then please click on “Other” and enter the amount you wish to donate. Thank you!

Step 10: Donate to The Young Scholars Award

In order to foster the academic study of Pentecostalism among graduate students, The Society for Pentecostal Studies will provide an annual award to a student member for the “Best Research Paper.” The recipient of this scholarship is determined by Interest Group leader nomination and Membership Committee ratification. The award includes the public recognition of the recipient, who will present his or her paper during the annual conference of the Society. It will also include a financial amount (to be determined every year) toward travel expenses to SPS for that year. If the amount you want to donate is not designated, then please click on “Other” and enter the amount you wish to donate. Thank you for investing in our future SPS scholars!
